May 9, 2014 Louisville, KY

It is well-known that Teddy Bridgewater was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  He has now found somewhat of a second home here in Louisville, KY.  In the 3 years  of him playing Quarterback  for the University of Louisville the city has supported and embraced him.  The skills he shows on the field leading the Cardinals to 2 Bowl games and rankings of respect.  Teddy played  hurt whether it was his ankle or his wrist.  He was a great leader and led by example from the front.  In the 2012  Sugar Bowl facing Florida, he showed the strength of will needed to play big time quarterback at the Division 1 level.  In the 2013 season many fans could be seen wearing Teddy Bear Heisman hopeful T-Shirts.  What a fitting animal to represent # 5.  Off the field he has proven to be a role model and friend to the community.  From the young kids to the adults he has been the definition of what a young student athlete can be. I wish nothing but the best for Teddy Bridgewater #5 and our University of Louisville Quarterback.
