Kentucky State University’s Community Outreach Day

The Virginia State Trojans will travel to Frankfort, KY. to take on the Kentucky State Thorobreds in Alumni Stadium on 09/20 at 4PM.  Kentucky State will be looking to rebound from a tough 13 -6 road loss against Johnson C. Smith out of Charlotte, North Carolina.  The football game between the two CIAA programs of K-State and V-State will also serve as an outreach day for the community of Frankfort.  Local Businesses and organizations will be in attendance for the game to be recognized for their good deeds. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. members will have tables set up at the game to encourage voter registration.

Any kid under the age of 12 will receive one complimentary ticket to the game with the purchase of an adult ticket.  Kentucky State’s Athletic Department has invited many schools across the state along with Girl Scouts, and little league football teams to come out and cheer the Thorobreds to victory.  It’s called Take a Kid to a Game day.  The Kentucky State Thorobreds will be wearing red socks and wrist bands in the game to help raise substance abuse and HIV/AIDS awareness to the community and student body.

Come out and enjoy the game, while supporting this beautiful cause.
