Mayweather vs. Berto All Access Episode 1 Takeaways

Showtime released its all access first episode for the upcoming Mayweather vs. Berto fight scheduled for September 12,  2015 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.  Here are a few of my takeaways from the first episode.

  • Floyd can not stop disrespecting Muhammad Ali.  In this episode he’s still rambling about how Ali lost to a fighter with only 7 total fights in his career when he beat him.  He also talks about how he doesn’t have to rope a dope.  In all due respect Floyd, it was Ali who was the first to talk smack and back it up not you.  Ali was one of the fighters that paved way for a boxer like yourself, so please stop it with the disrespect to the legend.
  • Andre’ Berto believes he has a chance in this fight and that comes from the confidence he’s getting every since training with Virgil Hunter.  It’s because of Virgil Hunter that I may consider watching this fight possibly in the movie theaters and not for the ridiculous 79.95 pay per view price.
  • Mayweather has some basketball game on him.  In this episode he plays some 5 on 5 pickup basketball against Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas.  It was a competitive game, so watch the episode below to find out which team wins.
